Teaching content strategy that actually makes sense
Since 2018, we've been helping students across South Africa understand how search engines work and how to create content that people want to read. No hype, no shortcuts—just practical knowledge you can use.
How this started
Back in 2018, we noticed something frustrating. Most SEO courses either dumbed things down too much or threw jargon at students without explaining what it actually meant. People were memorizing tactics without understanding why they worked.
We wanted to do things differently. Our courses focus on the reasoning behind SEO strategies, not just the steps. When you understand how search algorithms prioritize content and what makes people click, you can adapt to changes instead of scrambling every time Google updates.
We started with a small group of students in George and grew from there. Now we work with learners from different parts of South Africa, all studying remotely at their own pace.
What drives our approach
Clear explanations
We break down complex topics into understandable pieces. You shouldn't need a computer science degree to grasp how keyword research works or why content structure matters.
Patient guidance
Learning takes time, and that's fine. Our instructors respond to questions thoroughly and encourage you to experiment with concepts until they click.
Realistic expectations
SEO isn't magic. Results take months of consistent effort. We focus on building sustainable skills rather than promising overnight success.

Hendrik van Zyl
Lead Instructor & Founder
I've been working in digital marketing since 2012, helping businesses figure out their content strategy. After years of running my own consultancy, I realized how much demand there was for proper education in this field—not just surface-level tutorials, but real training that explains the mechanics.
Starting Quixalyntora came from seeing too many students struggle with outdated advice or get discouraged by courses that glossed over important details. I wanted to create something that respects your intelligence and gives you tools you can actually use in the real world.
Outside of teaching, I still work with a few clients on content projects, which keeps me current with what's changing in the industry. That practical experience feeds directly into how we structure our curriculum.
Where we've been
First course launch
Started with a single introductory course on keyword research and content planning. Twelve students enrolled in that first session, most from the Western Cape region.
Expanded curriculum
Added advanced modules covering technical SEO, content optimization, and analytics interpretation. The shift to fully remote learning during this period actually improved our reach across the country.
New platform development
Built a custom learning system that makes it easier for students to track progress and access materials. We also introduced live Q&A sessions to complement the recorded lectures.
Community growth
Launched student forums where learners can discuss strategies and share their projects. This peer learning component has become one of the most valued parts of our courses.
